Stress and Self Care

Last week’s Tip mentioned that stress that can be associated with the holidays.  PsychCentral shares that some people are at a higher risk of experiencing stress during the holidays so it’s important to know the common signs and symptoms prolonged or increased stress.  Being proactive and establishing a habit of self-care can combat stress and make for a more joyous holiday season.  Here are a few tips on how to practice self-care during the holidays.  You can read more about each of these self-care tips,  who is at a higher risk of stress, and symptoms to watch out for here.

  • Get restful sleep
  • Reduce exposure to stimulation
