Self-Care for Educators

Self-care is extremely important for educators.  Some of you have some very difficult students in your classes and it takes everything you have to keep it together and make it through each day.  One article from the 1 in 5 minds for Educators toolbox addresses the importance of self-care for teachers and talks about the following five strategies you can use to help you cope with challenging students:

  • Use empathy
  • Make time to reflect
